This allows permanent residents of Vernon County to freeze their real-estate taxes on their home, at the assessed value, if the property owner fits the criteria of the ordinance. This is an application process and must be completed every year once you have been approved. The links for the Ordinance &amp; Application are below. Applications to freeze for the 2025 assessment will be accepted April 1, 2026-May 31, 2026.
